DOH-Sarasota Hosts Pfizer Clinic for 16 and 17 Year Olds this Saturday, 4/24/2021

Vaccines for 16/17 Year Olds 

Sarasota – DOH Sarasota and the State of Florida have partnered to host a Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic at the Sarasota Square Mall in our first dose vaccination clinic, Saturday, April 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for those ages 16 and 17 years old interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccination, and those that received a Pfizer vaccine elsewhere and are due their second dose.

DOH Sarasota asks interested individuals to register for this clinic by calling (941) 861-2883 by Friday at 4 pm.

The Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine is approved for all persons’ age 16 and older. It is a two-dose vaccine with a 91% protection rate against COVID-19 illness. A vaccine clinic for the second dose will be held on May 15 at the same location.

In addition to this special Pfizer clinic DOH Sarasota will also be operating a first dose walk-in vaccination clinic, NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, with Moderna vaccine from our second dose clinic located at Sarasota Square Mall for those 18 years old and older.

A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years old and everyone receiving a vaccine must present a valid ID and a signed consent form. Blank consent forms are available at both clinics.
