Community Health Action Teams (CHATs) are citizen-led groups that partner with the Community Health Improvement Partnership to enhance the health and well-being of Sarasota County residents. CHATs are active in four areas of the county: Englewood, Newtown, North Port, and the Laurel, Osprey, Venice, Nokomis (LOVN) area.

At CHAT meetings, community members identify and address local health challenges through collaborative efforts. Participation is free and open to everyone—no application required. Attend a meeting and contribute as much as you like!
