Community Health Action Teams (CHATs) are citizen-led groups that partner with the Community Health Improvement Partnership to enhance the health and well-being of Sarasota County residents. CHATs are active in four areas of the county:

• Englewood
• Newtown
• North Port
• Laurel, Osprey, Venice, and Nokomis (LOVN) area

At CHAT meetings, community members identify and address local health challenges through collaborative efforts. Participation is free and open to everyone—no application required. Attend a meeting and contribute as much as you’d like!
