Have you been looking for a way to give back to your community? Consider becoming a Matter of Balance Coach. Sarasota County Health and Human Services is making great strides to prevent falls among older adults in our community and needs more individuals to join this effort!
A Matter of Balance is an 8-week fall prevention class. Participants are equipped with the tools and mindset to prevent falls, and coaches gain the satisfaction of helping older adults in the community. We invite anyone interested to attend our coach training on Tuesday, July 23rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 226. Please register in advance by contacting Kelly Ward at 941-861-2758. Deadline for registration is Monday, July 15th.
