DOH-Sarasota Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory

Sarasota County, Fla. The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County (DOH-Sarasota) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels the following location:

Brohard Beach and Paw Park
1850 Harbor Drive S.
Venice, FL 34285 

Tests completed on Tuesday, October 2, 2024, indicate that the water quality at Brohard Beach & Paw Park shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
