DOH-Sarasota is hosting a Safe Baby Class to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively educate parents and caregivers on preventing infant deaths. This training focuses on four key topics: choosing a safe caregiver, safe sleep practices, preventing shaken baby syndrome, and the dangers of distraction.

Upon completion, participants will be prepared to provide Safe Baby education in the community, helping families protect their babies from the leading causes of preventable death. We welcome anyone who works with clients and families to join us for this important training. Learn more about Safe Baby here.
