We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare.

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County (DOH-Sarasota) accepts most health insurance plans, whether you have Medicaid, Medicare or private coverage. We are striving to become your accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home.

What if I don't have insurance or my insurance isn't accepted?
We offer a sliding fee scale; the cost of most services depends on your ability to pay as determined by our Eligibility Office. If you need insurance, our Certified Application Counselors may be help you find coverage (there is no fee for this assistance).

Do I need a Health Card if I have insurance?
If your insurance is listed below, you do not need a Health Card (sometimes called a Clinic Card) to receive health services covered by your plan. You may be eligible for reduced deductibles and fees that are not covered by your insurance plan. Please stop by and see our Eligibility Specialists to find out. Without a reduced-fee Health Card, uncovered deductibles and services are billed at 100%. Co-pays are required at the time of service.
