We accept most Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance. 

DOH-Sarasota maintains a pharmacy to dispense medications to clients.

Free or Reduced-Cost Drugs

DOH-Sarasota provides free or reduced-cost medications for clients with certain conditions:

  • Diabetes
    The pharmacy provides insulin to diabetics who are at 100% or below Federal Poverty Guidelines.
  • Epilepsy
    Certain epilepsy medicines are available to patients at 110% or less of Federal Poverty Guidelines.
  • HIV/AIDS
    Assistance is available to patients with HIV/AIDS, whether or not they are being seen at our clinics. Prescriptions can be filled for Medicaid, Ryan White clients, and Florida ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) clients.
