Dogs are permitted to accompany their owners while dining in the outdoor area of food establishments meeting certain requirements. DOH-Sarasota inspects and issues permits for the “Doggie Dining” sites. Very specific rules apply to the outdoor areas of these establishments to protect health and safety.

Restaurant owners who wish to have their establishments considered for Doggie Dining permitting should complete and submit this application.
Complaints
Complaints about Doggie Dining rule violations may be submitted to the Environmental Health Services office.
